Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 as well as White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then served as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State.
